HAND-CRAFTED FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY

AF Reflect glasses are created with high-end acetate by Mazzucchelli and quality lenses produced by Carl Zeiss to provide maximum comfort and eye protection. Every pair of glasses is made in the family-run laboratory in Varese, near Milan, by artisans with over 30 years of experience in the field. Our eyewear are handcrafted with varying tools and old techniques unveiling our products' material identities. Our artisans still use all the traditional techniques, even the ones that have been replaced by industrial mass production. All refining and sanding is still done by hand, this way each and everyone of our pieces is unique, durable and of the highest quality.

 

STORY

Our company was born from the meeting of three professionals with complementary backgrounds united by a passion for innovative design and a desire to create products that combine elegance, functionality and a touch of exclusivity.

AF Reflect was founded in 2018 by Andrea Pisano and Francesco Del Garda.

Andrea developed a deep passion for the eyewear industry from an early age spending much of his time in his father’s artisan workshop. There he had the opportunity to work closely with handcrafted eyewear every day, observing and learning each phase of the creation process. This experience shaped his unique vision of the product merging traditional craftsmanship with a modern, innovative approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Driven by the desire to combine his passion for design with artisanal heritage, Andrea entered the world of eyewear with the goal of creating high-quality glasses that reflect not only aesthetic value but also functionality. This vision led to the creation of AF Reflect, a brand known for its innovative and timeless designs made for those who seek a distinctive and unique style.

Francesco, the company’s co-founder, is a world-renowned DJ with an impressive career that has taken him to the most exclusive clubs and international festivals. His musical background and ability to read the crowd have greatly influenced the company’s branding and vision, aiming to create a product that resonates with underground culture and the world of electronic music. His contribution to building a strong visual identity for the brand has been essential helping AF Reflect emerge as a symbol of originality and style for a young and dynamic audience.

In 2024 the company took a further step in its growth with the arrival of Massimo Pagano, an experienced commercial director with 15 years of expertise in international fashion sales. His in-depth knowledge of global markets and commercial dynamics supports AF Reflect’s global expansion by fostering strategic relationships with distributors and international partners.

Together Andrea, Francesco and Massimo have built a company that not only designs top-quality eyewear but also embodies a philosophy of style and innovation for an audience seeking products that reflect their personality and vision of the world.
